Takahiro Nishijima (西島 隆弘 Nishijima Takahiro, born September 30, 1986, in Sapporo, Hokkaido) is a Japanese singer and actor who is the main vocal of the band AAA. He also works as a solo singer known as Nissy.

Background[]

Nishijima is from Sapporo, Hokkaido. He has been dancing and singin since the age of 6. He graduated from Sapporo Kita High School and represented Sapporo Actors Studio in the band japs as an early member.

Career[]

2003, Nishijima passed the audition for AVEX.

Febraury, 2004, Perfomed at the Actors Studio 「BACKEN RECORD vol.13」 performance at Tokyo.

2005, Nishijima, with the rest of AAA, released the single "BLOOD on FIRE" debut. The song ranked ninth on Oricon.

January 17, 2007, Nishijima starred in the stage play "LOVE LETTERS"; April 2, starred in TV Tokyo's youth campus drama "Delicious Gakuin", as Kitasaka Okami; September 5 starred with Mitsuki Tanimura in the musical  "Love, Hanabi."

In 2008, he starred in the romantic comedy film "Love Exposure", as high schooler Honda Yuu, who lost his mother in childhood and lived with his priest father. This was Nishijima Takahiro's debut movie and he played male the protagonist. His performance in the film won the 2009 Grand Prix Sports Nippon movie Best Newcomer Award ; June 27, released his first album "Nissy".


April 2, 2009, starred with Saki Fukuda in the NHK drama "Ghost Friends", playing the Kaito Hayami.
